License Exam Information
Important: What To Take With You
Bring one form of personal identification, which should have a photo. Your FRN (FCC registration number). If you do not have a FRN number, go to the FCC Cores User Account and Registration page Cores Login. (https://apps.fcc.gov/cores/userLogin.do) to get your FRN. Original and a copy of your ham license (if any) and the Original and a copy of any CSCE's that you possess.
The test fee will be $15. Please bring exact change. No checks. Preregistration is not required. There is an additional $35 FCC license fee to be paid directly to the FCC by using the CORES FRN system. The FCC will email a link with payment instructions to each qualifying candidate. The candidate will have 10 calendar days from the date of the application file number being issued to pay. Once payment is made the FCC will send a second email with their license information.

If you are getting a new call, your call
will be issued in about a week later.
Oakhurst Exams
Exams will be administered quarterly on
the second Saturday of the month at the
Sierra Vista
Presbyterian Church
(see map) at 39696 Hwy 41
(actually off of Victoria Lane) in Oakhurst
at 1:00 PM (1300 hours)
